5th and 6th October 2023

DocDay Conference

Organized by the Institute of Wood Technology and Renewable Materials and Institute of Plant Protection.

The DocDay is a two days PhD conference taking place at the UFT in Tulln, Konrad Lorenz Strasse 24.
The aim of the conference is to provide PhD students working at the Campus Tulln a platform to present their research and for networking. On the first day, PhD students and invited external speakers will give presentations in the format of a mini-symposium. We also invite Post-Docs, supervisors and further interested to the symposium. On the second day, after presentations on challenges in research and science communication, the focus will be on networking. The event allows an interdisciplinary exchange of the research groups at the Campus Tulln.
PhD students can obtain 2 ETCS for the course 970402 Bio-Resources and Technologies which is based on this two days program of the DocDay. PhD students are invited to submit an abstract for an oral or a poster presentation by  September 17 2023. In the attachment you can find the registration form and abstract template. Submissions are limited to 20 presenters (PhDs). Students registered for the lecture will be preferred.
Furthermore, awards will be granted for the best talk and best poster. All interested persons are highly welcome to join the presentations, scientific discussions and social event!

Please register a.s.a.p. so that we can plan the event accordingly!
