The seminar addresses young researchers soon finishing their PhD studies or 1-2 years after completing their PhD, who are looking for funding programs to finance their first independent projects.

We ask for strict compliance with BOKU Corona measures and safety regulations.

Objectives:

The participants will get an overview of BOKU-relevant national and international funding programmes for young scientists.

  • Get to know selected BOKU-relevant national and international funding programs and their essential features and differences.
  • Identify which funding bodies / funding programs are suitable for the planned project.

Non-objective: The concrete content of project applications is not part of this seminar!

Current information and advice on selected national and international funding programs for young researchers, including:

  • FWF career programs
  • ÖAW Fellowships
  • Marie Curie Fellowships
  • ERC Starting Grant
