Application with 2 steps

1. Application at the BIP (at the hosting university):

First you apply for the participation at the BIP at the hosting partner university of BOKU or at the respective contact person at BOKU (not at BOKU-International Relations). Please note that BOKU has to be a partner university within the BIP.

Application daedline: please check the application deadline of the hosting/coordinating uiversity of the BIP and do not apply later than 8 weeks before the BIP start. Usually you need to send your CV and motivation letter to the contact person of the BIP for your application.


2. Application for the Erasmus+ grant (at BOKU-IR)
 

The application for the Erasmus+ grant for your participation at the BIP has to be done at BOKU-International Relations.

► Submit the following documents at BOKU-IR approx. 6 weeks before your mobility (by e-mail):

1) Nomination (Letter of acceptance) of the host university of the BIP

2) Proof of working language (min B2 level), not older than 5 years:

  • Secondary school leaving certificate/high school diploma (grade “satisfactory” or better)
  • BOKU-International Relations-Language Course: minimum level III (for English), level "Fachsprache" (for other languages)
  • BOKU-International Relations-Language Certification
  • Certificates of other universities or cultural institutes (please always attach the course outline, minimum level B2)
  • Official language diplomas like Cambridge Certificate, TOEFL, DELF, etc., minimum level B2
  • Courses in English Language to the extent of minimum 30 ECTS (if English = working language)

3) Transcript of Records 

  • Download from BOKUOnline including your grade point average, short version (min. 20-30 ECTS, grade point average <2,8)

► From BOKU-IR you will receive the following documents for completion and signing:

  • Learning Agreement
  • Erasmus+ Grant agreement

The Erasmus+ grant will be paid after you have submitted succesfully your final documents (after the physical stay at the BIP hosting university). Check "May stay abroad".

Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) calls can be found via

  •     the International Newsletter and the social media channels of BOKU-IR.

  •     Calls for proposals from universities or institutions participating in the organization of a BI

  • Screen the EU wide data base "Free database of BIPs"
