Lunch at the Mensa of BOKU

There are several options for having lunch on each campus at reasonable prices. For current opening times and weekly menus, see the Website of Mensa.

Meal Discount for Students (ÖH Mensapickerl)

Students can purchase meals at a discount of € 0,80 per menu. To receive this discount, follow these steps:

  • First, you need to go the Students' Union Office (ÖH BOKU) to sign the form and get an 'M' printed on your BOKU Card. The office is on the 2nd floor of the TÜWI building at campus Türkenschanze. 
  • Then, register at the Mensa with your bank card. Please come in the morning (no later than 11.00), or in the afternoon from 14.00 onwards to activate the discount.
  • Your discount will be applied automatically when you pay with your bank card!

Please be aware that you need to pay by card to receive the discount (except at the TüWi: you can receive the discount there by simply showing the “M”).

Campus Türkenschanze

BOKU Mensa at TÜWI
Can be found in the new Türkenwirt building, offering a large variety of daily dishes, meal deals, breakfast offers and more. All drinks, dairy products, coffee, pasta and meat are farmed organically. Furthermore preferably regional and seasonal ingredients are used to prepare the meals.

TÜWI Farm Shop and Daily Menu
The TÜWI association offers a daily vegetarian/vegan lunch menu. Additionally, you can buy fresh baked goods, seasonal vegetables, and other regional and organic groceries in the farm shop.

Campus Muthgasse

Currently, there is no mensa at campus Muthgasse available. There are several supermarkets in the close surrounding of the university buildings.
