The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) was awarded the BEST INNOVATION of RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS Prize on October 11th by the Province of Lower Austria and the Chamber of Commerce of Lower Austria for its outstanding innovation “Recyclable wood-based materials of the future – from boards to 3D printing”. DI Raphaela Hellmayr accepted the award on behalf of the BOKU, in particular the Institute of Wood Technology and Renewable Materials (Prof. Rupert Wimmer and DI Raphaela Hellmayr), the Institute of Green Civil Engineering (Prof. Benjamin Kromoser, DI Roman Myna and Dr. Sara Reichenbach) and the Institute of Chemistry of Renewable Resources (Prof. Falk Liebner).
