The Center for Bioeconomy at BOKU
Bioeconomy means the transformation of the economic system to an economy based on renewable raw materials. The aim of the center is to support bioeconomy-related activities in the fields of research, education and innovation.
BOKU covers almost all areas of the bioeconomy and has a unique selling point in Europe. At BOKU, bioeconomy is part of the program: More than 80% of the institutes conduct research in the field of bioeconomy and also offer training in this area.
