The steadily growing application possibilities of 3D Printing in medicine, industry and home use demand functional, thermoplastic materials, which meet the increasing requirements. At the Institut of Natural Materials Technology a main research focus is the development of biobased wood- and mineral reinforced filaments for FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling)-3D Printing. For improvement of the adhesion between printing bed and 3D-object different coupling agents and printing parameters are continuously tested.
