Psychosocial Counseling Center for BOKU Students

Since the beginning of winter term 21/22, a team of external psychologists/psychotherapists has been providing BOKU students with counseling (virtual as well as analog) in case of study-related difficulties as well as in personal conflict situations.

BOKU students can make use of up to 3 free individual appointments.

Problems that lead students to psychological counseling are, for example:

  • Stress and feeling overwhelmed
  • Conflicts with teachers or fellow students
  • writer's block, learning problems and procrastination
  • Orientation or motivation and decision-making difficulties
  • Contact and relationship difficulties
  • Exam nerves, anxiety and depression
  • specific problems with international students

The offer of psychological counseling includes individual counseling. Seminars and workshops can also be offered on specific topics during the semester. Counseling sessions are free of charge and subject to confidentiality. The costs are covered by BOKU/ÖH BOKU.
