Registration for German courses during the summersemester 2024

Registration for the German courses in the summer semester 2024 is no longer possible as the semester has already started.

We look forward to your registration for one of our German courses in the winter semester 2024/25.

Registration for the German Intensive Course before the start of the wintersemester 24/25

The next courses takes place:

Beginners: 09. September 2024 - 19. September 2024

Lower intermediate to advanced level: 09. September 2024 - 19. September 2024

The intensive courses in September 2024 will be held at BOKU Türkenschanze.

Please register by email to sprachkurse(at)boku.ac.at (even if you have already added the class to your learning agreement).

Places are limited to 15 and we accept students in class according to the date of their email registration.

Registration Deadline: 12. August 2024

In your registration email, please include the following information:

course and course level
your first name and family name
home address
exchange programme that allows you to come to BOKU

By emailing us the required personal data as listed above, you declare your consent to our use of the data for the sole purpose of registering you for the language course. The data processing is carried out on the basis of Art 6(1a) GDPR. We do not share any data received with third parties.

The intensive course costs 250 Euro. After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation and further information on payment of the course.

FINANCIAL AID OF THE ÖH BOKU FOR STUDENTS IN GERMAN COURSES

Students who are not native german speakers and struggle with the cost of a BOKU German course can apply to the ÖH BOKU Aid Fund for financial support. The funds is a social programme by ÖH BOKU (Students Union) and is meant to support students with study related barriers such as a language barrier. It is not a refund of the course fee. Applicants need to have successfully completed the german course as well as 8 ECTS at BOKU (including the course ECTS).

Cancellation of your course participation: If you want to cancel your registration in class, please note that this is possible until 19. August 2024 without fee. If you cancel your registration at a later stage, we need to charge a 70 Euro cancellation fee.

Our German Language courses are only for BOKU students (including BOKU incomings) .

Registration for German courses during the wintersemester 2024/25

Please register for our German courses during the semester by sending an e-mail to sprachkurse(at)boku.ac.at (even if you have already included the course in your learning agreement!) giving the following information:

course title + level
your first name and last name
exchange programme with which you are coming to BOKU

The deadline of registration for German courses during the winter semester (October 2024 - January 2025) is September 18^th 2024. If places are available after this, it's still possible to register. However, we recommend registering as soon as possible.

After successful registration you will receive a confirmation of your registration and further information on the course and payment mode by email.

With exception of the course "German for BOKU-specific subjects" (level B2+), which is free of costs for Erasmus students, our German semester courses cost 130 Euro (Beginner course, Conversation course).
